Tabitha Rushing Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Gonzales Road near Harbor Boulevard in Oxnard
Oxnard, California (April 22, 2021) – The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a woman who died after being struck by a car in Oxnard on Monday, April 12.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened on Gonzales Road, between Harbor Boulevard and Victoria Avenue, at about 11:55 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
39-year-old Tabitha L. Rushing was walking in traffic lanes for unknown reasons when she was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Pedestrian Killed on Gonzales Road near Oxnard Identified
Rushing was killed in the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
