Three Juveniles Injured in Fresno County Crash at Dickenson and Barstow Avenues

Fresno County, California (April 21, 2021) – Three children were hospitalized Wednesday evening following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury traffic collision happened at around 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Dickenson and Barstow Avenues.
The CHP said the driver of a car allegedly failed to stop for the posted stop sign at the intersection and pulled directly into the path of a sport-utility vehicle.
Both vehicles eventually collided.

Three juvenile passengers were riding in the back seat in the car, according to the CHP. One of the children was airlifted to the Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The other two children were taken via a ground ambulance to the hospital, one with major injuries and one with unspecified injuries.
The two drivers were not injured.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
