Yolanda Castillo ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Riverside Crash on 91 Freeway near Pierce Street
Riverside, California (April 21, 2021) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died Wednesday morning following a traffic crash in Riverside as Yolanda Castillo, 50, of Riverside.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:03 a.m. on 91 Freeway, just west of Pierce Street.
The authorities said Castillo was riding his motorcycle westbound on 91 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, she lost control and was thrown off the bike.
Riverside Woman Killed in 91 Freeway Collision
First responders arrived at the scene and found Castillo lying in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped due to the collision. As of 8:17 a.m., the freeway was reopened.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
