Upper Lake, California (April 21, 2021) – At least one person was hurt following an alleged hit-and-run collision Sunday afternoon in Upper Lake.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at about 3 p.m., in the 755 block of the highway near Government Street.

As per the CHP report, a silver Toyota Prius collided with a white pickup truck loaded with pipes on the highway for reasons still under investigation.

At Least 1 Injured on State Route 20

An unidentified individual riding in the Toyota sustained unspecified injuries following the accident.

Officials affirmed the pickup truck operator did not stop and escaped the scene without rendering aid to the patient.

The April 18 crash remains under active investigation.
