1 Killed in Los Angeles Crash on Southbound Highway 101 to Eastbound Interstate 10 Connector

Los Angeles, California (April 21, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to CHP, the incident happened at about 8:23 p.m. on the southbound Highway 101 to eastbound Interstate 10 connector, near N Mission Road.
The pedestrian was struck by the car under unclear circumstances sustaining fatal injuries.
First responders found the vehicle on the left-hand shoulder, and the victim’s body lodged into the back windshield of the car.
The transition was closed for an unknown duration as authorities investigated.
