Aptos Accident at Freedom Boulevard and Soquel Drive Seriously Injures 1 Person
Aptos, California (April 18, 2021) – A female party was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Aptos Saturday afternoon.
A black Honda Pilot crashed with a green Dodge Caravan in the area of Freedom Boulevard and Soquel Drive shortly before 5 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred near Highway 1 in the afternoon hours.
Due to the impact, the Honda went five to ten feet off the highway.
Major Injury Aptos Accident
A female party riding in the Honda Pilot sustained major injuries following the wreck. She was attended to by medical personnel and then transported to an area hospital for medication.
The mishap resulted in the closure of the westbound No. 2 lane of the road for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
