Joan McKee ID’d as 71-Year-Old Woman Killed in Corona Pedestrian Crash on 91 Freeway near Main Street

Corona, California (April 18, 2021) – Joan McKee of Huntington Beach, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Saturday evening traffic accident in Corona, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
The deadly accident involving a pedestrian transpired at about 5:53 p.m. on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway west of Main Street.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol that a red Ford minivan was driven recklessly before the crash and that a pedestrian was down in the fast lane.
A white sedan, blue minivan, blue SUV, orange pickup and silver minivan were stopped at the scene, but it was unclear which, if any, were involved in the crash.
McKee, who was involved in the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
