Grass Valley Accident at La Barr Meadows and Dog Bar Roads Seriously Injures 1 Person

Grass Valley, California (April 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury crash at an intersection in Grass Valley Thursday evening.

The alleged hit-and-run collision took place in the area of La Barr Meadows and Dog Bar roads shortly before 6:00 p.m.

It was not immediately established how the collision occurred at the intersection near Corner Store in the evening hours.

One unidentified victim sustained major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medication.

Officials affirmed the involved motorist did not stop following the mishap and escape the crash site. However, the suspect’s automobile was later located on Highway 49 at Combie Road.

The accident remains under investigation.
