Santa Cruz, California (April 14, 2021) – One person died in a car accident on Wednesday morning in Santa Cruz, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on Highway 1 at Morrissey Boulevard at about 1:47 a.m.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it crashed in unclear circumstances.
A passenger in the vehicles was killed in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by the CHP officers.
