Twin Lakes, California (April 13, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision that injured one party Sunday afternoon in Twin Lakes.

The CHP responded to the crash site at approximately 4:35 p.m. in the area of Cliff Drive and 14th Avenue.

A motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle driven by a male party at the Twin Lakes intersection near the Blacks Beach under unclear circumstances.

Twin Lakes Motorcycle Accident

The motorcyclist was rushed to the Dominican Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the wreck.

The involved driver stopped to render aid to the injured rider but he later fled the crash site.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
