Klamath, California (April 12, 2021) – Four people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a car accident that happened Monday morning at an intersection in Klamath, Del Norte County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident involved a white Cadillac sedan and a van and happened at about 9:43 a.m. on Ehlers Avenue at Highway 101.

Klamath firefighters responded to the scene to find four people, including two males, with minor injuries. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities had not yet determined the cause of the head-on collision at the time of the report.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
