Major Injuries Sustained in Desert Hot Springs Crash on Via Montana

Desert Hot Springs, California (April 12, 2021) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision involving a dirt bike Sunday afternoon in Desert Hot Springs, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports about the crash at around 1:26 p.m. in the 15466 block of Via Montana.
A dirt bike collided with a silver Ford Ranger under unclear circumstances.
Cal Fire responded to the scene to find the motorcycle blocking the roadway and two people with injuries.
An ambulance was requested to take the patients to the hospital. At least one of them suffered severe injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
