1 Killed in Car Accident on 5 Freeway at Sunland Boulevard in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (April 11, 2021) – One person was killed in a car crash in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, on Saturday morning.
The collision happened on the Golden State (5) Freeway at Sunland Boulevard at about 11:55 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A gray van reportedly veered off the roadway and slammed into a tree.
Officers with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the crash and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
Sadly, the unidentified victim succumbed to injuries at the scene of the accident.
