1 Severely Injured in Malibu Crash on Pacific Coast Highway at Tonga Street

Malibu, California (April 11, 2021) – Several people were injured, one of them severely, in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Malibu, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup took place at around 3:54 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Tonga Street.
As per the report, two motorcycles and one car were involved in the accident.
The report did not mention the cause or manner of the accident.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene after receiving reports about the accident.
About 3 to 4 people were injured in the collision, the report said. One of them was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries. The extent of the injuries sustained by the other victims and whether they were hospitalized or not was not mentioned.
Caltrans was requested to respond to the scene to help clean about 30 feet of oil that spilled across the highway.
The firefighters closed PCH for an unknown duration following the collision.
