6 Injured, 3 Hospitalized after West Adams Crash on South Buckingham Road

West Adams, California (April 10, 2021) – Six people were injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in the West Adams neighborhood in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash was reported at around 1:00 p.m. in the 2544 block of South Buckingham Road.
Authorities said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason on South Buckingham Road. After the impact, one of the vehicles crashed into a homeless encampment.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.
A total of six people were injured as a result of the crash. Three patients were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while three others declined hospitalization.
The names and conditions of the injured parties were not immediately disclosed.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
