Redwood City, CA: Motorcyclist Sustains Broken Leg in Traffic Crash on Highway 101
Rider Seriously Injured in Redwood City Crash on Highway 101 near Brittan Avenue On-Ramp

Redwood City, California (April 9, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday morning in Redwood City, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision occurred at about 10:15 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of Brittan Avenue on-ramp.
CHP said the accident involved a motorcycle and at least three cars.
The rider was pinned underneath one of the vehicles, and pedestrians were attempting to lift it to free the victim.
The motorcyclist was successfully freed from under the vehicle and was conscious and breathing.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a broken left leg, the report said.
It was not clear if there was any other party who was injured in the crash.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
