Bakersfield, California (April 8, 2021) – 32-year-old Melissa Ann Marinez has been identified as the female party who died after being hit by a vehicle in west Bakersfield last month, March 4, the Kern County coroner’s office reported.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at approximately 6:58 p.m. in the 10300 block of Rosedale Highway.

The circumstances that led to the crash was not immediately established at the time of the report.
