Brentwood, California (April 5, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died early Friday morning following a car accident in Brentwood as Miguel Figueroa-Cruz, 28, of Stockton.

The deadly single-vehicle crash occurred at about 3:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, on Highway 4 near the Lone Tree Way off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2010 Honda sedan, driven by Figueroa-Cruz, was traveling on Highway 4 when, for unknown reasons, the sedan drifted off the roadway and roll over several times.

The CHP said the sedan came to a stop on the dirt median.

Figueroa-Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not immediately clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
