Rosamond, CA: CHP Investigating 2 Traffic Collisions on Highway 14

Rosamond, California (April 5, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating two traffic collisions that happened Monday morning in Rosamond, one of them resulting in major injuries.

One of the collisions happened at around 9:28 a.m., involving two cars, and the other just about two minutes later, also involving two vehicles. The incidents transpired in the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 14, about 2 miles south of Rosamond Boulevard.

A party was reporting the first accident to the Kern County Fire Department when the second happened.

One of the crashes resulted in major injuries to at least one person, the report said. An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer medical aid to the victim.

No one was injured in the other crash.

At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the factors contributing to the accidents.
