Hinkley, CA: CHP Investigating Fatal Single-Car Crash on Community Boulevard
1 Killed in Hinkley Car Crash on Community Boulevard near Dixie Road
Hinkley, California (April 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a deadly single-car crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Hinkley, San Bernardino County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 12:50 p.m. on Community Boulevard, just west of Dixie Road.
As per the report, a blue Chevrolet Impala lost control, hit an Edison power pole, and overturned onto its side. The car got tangled in high voltage power lines that got suspended to the ground.
The report said one person lost their life in the accident.
The vehicle was towed away with two missing wheels that detached and went about 20 feet into the open dirt following the crash.
CHP is investigating the incident.
