4 People Injured in Fresno Crash on Monroe Avenue at Belmont
Fresno, California (April 3, 2021) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday in Fresno, authorities said.
The accident occurred on Monroe Avenue at Belmont.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevy Impala was headed southbound on Monroe Avenue when it ran through a stop sign at Belmont and collided with a Chevy Malibu.
The Malibu reportedly crashed into the driver’s side door of the Impala. The Impala was pushed partly into a canal.
4 Hurt in Crash on Monroe Avenue at Belmont
The driver of the Impala sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
Three parties in Malibu were aided at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
