Pedestrian Severely Hurt in Fallbrook Crash on Old Highway 395 and Highway 76

Fallbrook, California (March 30, 2021) – A skateboarder was hit and seriously injured by a car Monday night in Fallbrook, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said at around 11:54 p.m., a pedestrian was skateboarding across the street when they were struck by a silver sedan.
The incident happened on westbound Old Highway 395 at Highway 76.
The report said a Good Samaritan stopped their black Chevrolet Suburban next to the victim and blocking traffic lanes possibly to shield them from being hit by other vehicles.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries in the crash, as per the report. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
