Lake Cachuma, California (March 25, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning head-on collision that killed one person and left one other person injured in Lake Cachuma.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:55 a.m., on Highway 154.
According to the officials, two vehicles collided head-on on the highway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
One Killed in Highway 154 Crash
Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
One other party was extricated from one of the vehicles and transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Traffic on the highway was stopped for several hours due to the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
