Haley Takeda ID’d as Woman Killed in San Diego Crash at Genesee Avenue and Osler Street
San Diego, California (March 21, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who was killed Friday night in a head-on collision in San Diego as Haley Kaede Takeda, 21, of San Mateo.
The deadly crash happened at about 10:58 p.m. Friday, March 19, at the intersection of Genesee Avenue and Osler Street.
Police said a vehicle was heading westbound on Genesee Avenue at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and collided head-on with another vehicle that was heading eastbound, driven by Takeda.

Takeda was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
