Fremont, California (March 21, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury crash that took place Thursday afternoon in Fremont.

The major injury collision was reported at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Interstate 680 Freeway near Mission Boulevard offramp.

Although it was not immediately established how the cash occurred on the southbound side of I-680, one vehicle rolled over, and a woman was pinned in the wreckage.

Fremont Crash Sends One Person to Hospital

The female party was rescued and reportedly sustained major injuries in the wreck.
