20-Year-old Sacramento Man Killed in Rosemont Crash on Kiefer Boulevard near Tallyho Drive
Rosemont, California (March 20, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening head-on collision that killed a 20-year-old Sacramento man and left a 40-year-old man from Elk Grove injured in Rosemont.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:22 p.m., on March 18, on Kiefer Boulevard just east of Tallyho Drive,
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Elk Grove man was driving in the opposite direction when he crossed over a left-hand turn lane into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by the Sacramento man.
The Sacramento man was reportedly driving westbound on Kiefer Boulevard when the accident occurred.

Sadly, the Sacramento man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Elk Grove man sustained minor injuries in the accident and was aided at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
