Long Beach Collision on Atlantic Avenue Kills Female Pedestrian

Long Beach, California (March 20, 2021) – A Long Beach pedestrian accident that took place Friday afternoon resulted in the death of an 80-year-old woman, according to a report by the Long Beach Police Department.
The fatal crash took place in the 1300 block of Atlantic Avenue near Anaheim Street at about 3:13 p.m. March 19
As per the report, a 2007 Dodge Nitro driven by a 45-year-old man was attempting to exit a parking lot of a stall when it hit a female pedestrian in the afternoon hours.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist stopped following the mishap and cooperated with the investigation.

The unidentified victim died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the collision.
