Josh Paoli ID’d as 30-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Millville Crash on Highway 44 at Fisher Road
Millville, California (March 17, 2021) – Josh Paoli, 30, of Shingletown, has been identified as the man who was injured in a Tuesday morning head-on collision in Millville, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m., on March 16, on Highway 44 at Fisher Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Paoli headed eastbound when he saw another driver hit a deer.
Paoli reportedly made a U-turn to help and was struck head-on by a truck that was headed westbound.

Paoli was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other truck was not injured. The driver who struck the deer, who was not involved in the crash, drove away uninjured.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
