One Person Killed in Sun Valley Pedestrian Accident on North Coldwater Canyon Avenue
Sun Valley, California (March 16, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train on Tuesday morning in Sun Valley, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 6:45 a.m. near the 7400 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
According to the officials, the Metrolink train 102 on the Ventura County Line was heading to Los Angeles when it hit the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The train stopped in the area following the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
