1 Severely Hurt in Fresno Crash on Cedar Avenue On-Ramp to Eastbound Highway 180

Fresno, California (March 15, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and severely injured by a car Sunday night in Fresno, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 9:20 p.m. on Cedar Avenue on-ramp to eastbound Highway 180.
The report said the pedestrian was hit by a gray SUV under unclear circumstances.
A white Mazda with hazard lights on was seen on the right-hand shoulder, but it was not clear if it was involved in the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find the pedestrian with severe injuries. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The incident left Cedar Avenue on-ramp to eastbound Highway 180 shut down for an unknown duration.
CHP is investigating the incident.
