Woman Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash on Bradshaw Road near Carmencita Avenue

Sacramento, California (March 14, 2021) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle after she tripped and fell while crossing a highway in Sacramento on Friday night, March 12.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 11:17 p.m. on Bradshaw Road near Carmencita Avenue.
The authorities said 28-year-old Alberto Vazquez was driving a Ford Escape on the roadway when he got into an argument with his 26-year-old female passenger.
Vasquez pulled over and the unidentified Stockton woman exited the vehicle and ran across the highway.
The unidentified woman is reported to have tripped and fell along the southbound lanes and was hit by a passing vehicle.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Vasquez was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
