Woman Injured in Lompoc Pedestrian Accident on North H Street near Pine Avenue
Lompoc, California (March 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Lompoc, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, on North H Street between Pine and College avenues, authorities said.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian, described as a woman in her 60s, was attempting to walk across North H Street when a passing vehicle swerved to avoid hitting her.
The second vehicle failed to notice the woman and struck her.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the woman lying unconscious on the roadway. She was airlifted to Cottage Hospital with a head injury. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.
The drivers of the involved vehicles stopped at the scene and were cooperative, investigators said.
