1 Killed in Ridgecrest Crash on Trona Road near Highway 178; Wednesday Evening
Ridgecrest, California (March 11, 2021) – At least one person died in a Wednesday evening Ridgecrest crash that happened on Trona Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident happened at about 7:24 p.m. involving a single car.
The vehicle rolled over along Trona Road about half-a-mile south of Highway 178.
CHP officers had not yet determined the cause of the crash at the time of the report.
The San Bernardino County coroner responded to the scene following the death of at least one occupant of the vehicle.
Southbound traffic on Trona Road remained blocked for an unknown period as authorities investigated.
