San Diego, California (March 5, 2021) – A woman was seriously injured Thursday night in a traffic accident in San Diego, according to a local news source.

The accident occurred at around 9:10 p.m. Thursday, March 4, on Interstate 5 near the Sea World Drive exit.

The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons in the southbound lane of Interstate 5.

After the impact, one of the involved vehicles, driven by a woman, overturned and landed upside down in Tecolote Creek.
