Ronal Villatoro Killed in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Collision at 88th Place and Main Street
Los Angeles, California (February 26, 2021) – The Los Angeles police have identified 33-year-old Ronal Merdio Villatoro as the victim who died following a pedestrian accident at an intersection in South Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
The deadly crash took place at 88th Place and Main Street in the afternoon hours.
The accident happened when a green pickup truck traveling west on 88th Place ran a red light and crashed with a Toyota Camry heading northbound on South Main Street.
The truck then hit Villatoro while crossing South Main Street in a crosswalk.
Meanwhile, the truck occupants escaped the crash site on foot without rendering aid to the victim.
