Corning, CA: 1 Airlifted after Head-On Crash at South and Marguerite Avenues
1 Hospitalized with Severe Injuries after Corning Crash at South Avenue and Marguerite Avenue

Corning, California (February 26, 2021) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a head-on collision that happened Friday morning in Corning, the California Highway Patrol said.
Two vehicles collided head-on at around 5:44 a.m. on westbound South Avenue at Marguerite Avenue.
Reportedly, one of the vehicles was swerving in and out of oncoming traffic before it collided head-on with the other.
Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles after the impact.
The vehicles were completely blocking the roadway.
At least one person suffered severe injuries in the crash. Enloe Flight Care responded to the scene and transported the victim to Enloe Medical Center.
There were no details about whether the other driver was injured.
CHP is investigating the accident to establish factors that may have contributed to the crash.
