Boron, CA: CHP Investigating Fatal Highway 58 Crash at Boron Avenue Off-Ramp
1 Killed in Boron Crash on Highway 58 at Boron Avenue Off-Ramp
Boron, California (February 24, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a deadly Highway 58 crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Boron.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 12:18 p.m. in the westbound lanes at the Boron Avenue off-ramp.
A white 4-door sedan crashed for unknown reasons, ending up overturned in the center divider.
Small children were seen out of the vehicle, and a body of a female party that was possibly ejected from the car lying in the center divider.
An air ambulance was requested to the scene to transport at least one patient to the hospital.
Authorities said one person was killed in the accident but did not give more details. It was also not clear if there was anyone injured.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
