Oxnard, California (February 23, 2021) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle at an intersection in Oxnard on Monday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Wooley Road and E Street at about 6:50 p.m. February 22.
A 2009 Yamaha motorcycle is alleged to have collided with a 2009 Mercedes Benz in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he later died while undergoing treatment.
The name of the motorcyclist was withheld pending notification of his family.
