Cody Hendrix ID’d as Man Killed in Woodland Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5 near East Street
Woodland, California (February 23, 2021) – The pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Woodland has been identified as Cody Thomas Hendrix, 26, of Idaho.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. Friday, February 19, on northbound Interstate 5, just south of East Street.
Hendrix was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a 2020 Nissan that was traveling northbound on Interstate 5, the CHP report states.
Pedestrian Killed in Interstate 5 Crash
Hendrix died at the scene.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were considered a factor in the accident.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
