Christopher Theoni ID’d as Man Killed in San Benito County Dirt Dike Crash near New Idria
San Benito County, California (February 18, 2021) – The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was killed early this month in a dirt bike crash in San Benito County as Christopher Theoni, 58 of Salinas.
The deadly accident was reported at around 1:42 p.m. Sunday, February 7, near New Idria.
Theoni was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities said Theoni may have experienced a medical event prior to the accident.
An investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident is ongoing.
