Woman Seriously Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Cardiff Street

San Diego, California (February 18, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver Monday night in the Jamacha/Lomita neighborhood in San Diego, according to a local news source.
The major injury pedestrian crash occurred at about 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, on Cardiff Street, the authorities said.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman, was crossing the street when a vehicle hit her.

The woman was transported to a hospital with multiple fractures and a collapsed lung. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.
The involved driver did not stop to render aid to the woman and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or the driver.
