Man Hospitalized after Bakersfield Accident near Olive Drive and Roberts Lane
Bakersfield, California (February 17, 2021) – A dirt bike rider was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a traffic collision Tuesday night in Bakersfield, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash was reported at around 8:30 p.m. near Olive Drive and Roberts Lane.
The mishap involved an SUV that was pulling out into the street to travel eastbound on Olive Drive and an on-street legal dirt bike.
Major Injury Bakersfield Accident Tuesday Night
The dirt bike rider, who was not wearing a helmet, reportedly t-boned the SUV on February 16.
Paramedics rushed the rider to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
There were no other victims hurt, including the SUV occupants.
The accident remains under investigation.
