Minor Injuries Sustained in Bakersfield Crash at Manor Street and Day Avenue
Bakersfield, California (February 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a minor injury accident that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Bakersfield.
CHP said two pickup trucks collided at about 4:27 p.m. at Manor Street and Day Avenue under unclear circumstances.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find a green GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck and a white Chevrolet pickup truck involved in the crash.
At least one of the pickups was blocking the roadway.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to assist the motorists who sustained minor injuries.
One of the vehicles acquired major front-end damage and the other rear-end damage. Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
