1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Crash on Highway 99 near 12th Avenue Off-Ramp
Sacramento, California (February 13, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 12:13 p.m. on northbound Highway 99, just north of 12th Avenue off-ramp.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the cause and manner of the accident.
A party who reported the incident said he hit his head and was injured.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center with minor injuries.
One of the vehicles acquired broken tires and major front-end damage.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
