Elias Beltran Seriously Injured in Indio Pedestrian Accident at Indio Boulevard and Fred Waring Drive
Indio, California (February 11, 2021) – A pregnant mother and her 5-year-old son, Elias Beltran, were injured last week Thursday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident at an intersection in Indio, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday, February 4, at the intersection of Indio Boulevard and Fred Waring Drive.
According to the police, a black Toyota Highlander collided with a red Toyota Camry at the intersection.
First responders arrived at the scene and freed the woman and the boy from the Toyota Camry.

Elias sustained a fractured shoulder and spine and was airlifted to Riverside, where he was placed on a ventilator.
Elias’ mother suffered some bruises in the crash and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV, Jesus Noriega, 31, of Indio, fled the scene but was later arrested by police. He was booked into custody on charges of felony hit-and-run, causing bodily injury.
