2 Injured in DUI Motorcycle Accident on Gas Point Road near Marsha Way in Igo
Igo, California (February 11, 2021) – A woman has been arrested on suspicion of DUI following a collision that left two people injured in Igo, near Redding, on Wednesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Gas Point Road near Marsha Way at about 7 p.m. February 10.
A woman was driving a Mercury Mariner SUV northbound on Gas Point Road when she drifted into the southbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle.
Two people who were on the motorcycle were injured in the accident.
The two riders were transported to an area hospital; one via helicopter and the other by ambulance.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
