Fresno, California (February 10, 2021) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s-Coroner’s Office has identified the bicyclist who died after being struck by a speeding vehicle early Wednesday morning at an intersection in Fresno as Tamiko Fuller, 45, of Fresno.

The deadly accident occurred at around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Jensen Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

According to the authorities, Fuller was riding his bicycle eastbound on Jensen Avenue when he was struck by a Honda that also heading eastbound on Jensen Avenue towards Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Fuller was ejected from the bike upon the impact.

The Honda then collided with a Toyota that was turning east onto Jensen Avenue from northbound Martin Luther King Boulevard. The impact caused the Honda to spin and hit a utility pole.

After the crash, the Toyota and the bicycle came to stop in a field at the southeast corner of the intersection.

Fuller and the Honda driver died in the crash. The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

It is undermined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.

Jensen Avenue was blocked at Martin Luther King Avenue while the investigation took place.
