Rider Hospitalized after Escondido Accident on Highway 78 near East 17th Avenue
Escondido, California (February 9, 2021) – A rider was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision Monday morning in Escondido, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorcycle crash was reported at about 6:38 a.m., February 8, on State Route Highway 78 near East 17th Avenue.
The accident involved a big rig truck and a black 2013 Harley Davidson that crashed on the highway for unknown reasons.
Escondido Motorcycle Accident Injures One Person
Paramedics rushed the rider to an area hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, officials requested a flatbed tow truck to remove the motorcycle away from the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
