Murrieta Pedestrian Accident on Monroe Avenue Left Delores Jenkins-Rhoden Dead
Murrieta, California (February 8, 2021) – The Murrieta woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday morning in Murrieta has been identified as 73-year-old Delores Jenkins-Rhoden.
The fatal crash took place along Monroe Avenue, just south of Sunflower Road, at about 7:20 a.m.
A southbound vehicle reportedly hit Jenkins-Rhoden while she was walking across the street outside a marked crosswalk on February 7.

The victim died at Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center, just around 12:02 p.m., while undergoing treatment.
The Murrieta Police Department affirmed the involved motorist stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with investigators.
The deadly crash remains under investigation.
