Male Pedestrian Killed in Tulare Crash on Highway 99
Tulare, California (February 5, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday night traffic accident that killed a male pedestrian in Tulare, Fresno, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened just after 8:00 p.m., on February 4, on Highway 99.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian, who is believed to be a transient, was trying to run across the highway at Prosperity when a vehicle struck him.
The pedestrian was then hit by another vehicle.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on the northbound lanes of the highway was stopped for several hours due to the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
